🔎 Common use cases

  • Project manager: use the Manager role to create and manage projects, supervise associated documents, and manage task allocation.
  • Business expert or occasional contributor: User role, limited to specific assignments. Cannot create or modify outside assignments.
  • Administrator or CIO: Owner role, essential for managing access, security and subscription.

✅ Best practices in role management

  • Avoid multiplying Owners: limit this role to those responsible for governance or security.
  • Use the Manager role for project or business managers.
  • Assign Users only once a project or task has been assigned to them.
  • For all new collaborators: start with User, then evolve as necessary.
